How many cameras do I need?
The technician walks your home or shop to cover the entrances, parking and other weak spots, then suggests the number of cameras and where they go. Most homes need 2 to 4.
How long is footage kept?
It depends on the hard disk size, number of cameras and resolution. A 1 TB disk typically keeps about two weeks of recording from four HD cameras; your technician sizes it for what you need.
Which UPS or inverter should I get?
The technician adds up what you want to run during a power cut and for how long, then suggests the inverter size and battery. Tubular batteries suit long power cuts at home.
